NOUVEAU Playing Cards feature a unique design inspired by the Art Nouveau movement of the late 19^th century, which rebelled against academic strictures to emphasize the lush, curved, organic forms — a style that adorns the Paris Metro even today. The deck’s extraordinary design led to its selection as the official United Cardists’ Deck of 2016.

On the card backs, you’ll find a rich Art Nouveau pattern of interwoven curves. The 100% customized card faces are also inspired by Art Nouveau style, and the court cards feature vivid portraits of the historical and mythological characters that populated the first French decks of the 16^th century: Julius Caesar, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Sir Lancelot, Pallas Athena, and more! The cards are poker-size and of master-finish quality.

The cards were printed by the EPCC in a limited edition that will never be reprinted.
